GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manages all ERP Software to include the Lawson Human Capital suite, Financial suite, and Supply Chain suite and system-wide interfaces with Operations and Maintenance enterprise systems to include Trapeze, Spear, Web and related Oracle and SQL Server databases. Performs applications system setup, interface design and coding, and related database designs and scripting. Manages the functional and technical support of these systems for DART's IT department. Must demonstrate a track record of successful management of Lawson, Trapeze and Spear enterprise upgrades and implementation projects with the goal of business process improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manages the functional deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, testing, upgrade, and support of all ERP systems (Lawson, Trapeze, Spear, BSI TaxFactory).
  2. Provides functional and technical consultation and support to customers and vendors.
  3. Serves as the primary contact with IT and user department personnel to resolve application production issues, and test and analyze overall process improvements.
  4. Produces and maintains complete ERP systems and interface documentation, and provides training to IT staff as necessary.
  5. Assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of ERP-related Web-based applications.
  6. Remains current on industry issues, trends, and new methods through trade journals, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  7. Understands and executes administrative policies and procedures established by DART.
  8. Works with the Operations and Maintenance section personnel and software users with little or no direct supervision to solve on-going problems.
  9. Works closely with department staffs and managers to assure that necessary policy changes are implemented and approved and that project status is reported to user personnel.
  10. Performs other job functions as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.

  1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or related field.
  2. Five (5) years minimum of functional applications experience supporting ERP or enterprise software with an expertise in Human Capital, Financials, and/or Supply Chain.
  3. Three (3) years of project management experience related to ERP development, deployment, upgrades, and/or interface designs.
  4. Strong overall knowledge of ERP software environments, enterprise systems interface solutions, and patch installation techniques. Must possess knowledge of and have working experience with relational database (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) utilizing SQL or PL/SQL, and programming development utilizing Lawson CASE/4GL tools, Micro Focus COBOL. Experience with Landmark Java, Microsoft Office Add-Inn, Lawson Spreadsheet Designer, and Lawson role-based security is a plus. Experience with ERP-related Web-based applications and deployment.
  5. Ability to demonstrate a fiduciary obligation to section, division, department, and DART in handling materials and information of a confidential nature.
  6. Must possess strong oral, written, communication and organizational skills.
  7. Substantial interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, all levels of supervisory and non-supervisory employees, vendors, and others both inside and outside of DART.
  8. Must possess a high level of analytical ability to find solutions to difficult and complex interpersonal, technical, financial, and/or administrative problems.
  9. An equivalent combination of related education and experience might be substituted for the above stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licensed, or Certifications.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to Senior Manager-ERP *

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
