GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides support for contracted services and coordinates, schedules and oversees contractors for internal relocations, special event set-up and removal, furniture/equipment inventory and distribution workflows and track supplies and invoices for the PA/Facility Services section.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conducts site surveys for all internal relocation/installation requests and works with Managers/Supervisors in coordinating schedules with DARTs Information Technology Department, construction contractors and mover/installers for projects at all agency facilities.
  2. Schedules, coordinates, and oversees moving contractors, office set-up, set-up & removal for meetings and special events, relocations, furniture distribution, and modular furniture installation/removal.
  3. Generates a series of current daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external use.
  4. Works with management to ensure that any and all contract checklist requirements are current and included in the contract file to ensure compliance.
  5. Monitors the PA/FS furniture, special event setup, and breakroom supply requests daily. Responds to work order requests for furniture keys, coffee supplies, and furniture related and special event setups for all DART locations.
  6. Communicates with the Materials Management Division regarding the disposal of excess or unserviceable furniture/equipment.
  7. Maintains a current inventory of all modular furniture, case goods furniture and equipment used in event set-ups. Maintains furniture/equipment storage area(s) in an organized, orderly and clean condition always. Maintains records of all furniture/equipment received and ensures that all new furniture and equipment is identified with DART asset tags and added to the furniture/equipment database at the time of receipt.
  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.

  1. High school or general education diploma (GED). Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or a related field. Preferred
  2. Two (2) years progressively responsible experience involving management of projects, data analysis, office administration and other related monitoring and analysis activities.
  3. Must have a valid Drivers License class A, B, or C, and can obtain a Texas class A, B, or C within 90 days of employment; no DWI/DUI conviction within the last sixty (60) consecutive months, not more than one (1) DWI/DUI on driving record, and not more than three (3) convictions of moving violations within the last thirty-six (36) consecutive months on driving record to operate DART non-revenue vehicles.
  4. Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles.
  5. Requires substantial physical ability and stamina to almost constantly, more than 70% of work time, walk, bend/stoop, and stand while performing essential duties, and very frequently, more than 50% of work time, lift objects weighing 40-50 pounds such as boxes and crates containing furniture, equipment, supplies and materials.
  6. Proficiency of PC software applications to include Microsoft Office or other related software applications.
  7. Analytical and creative skills to find solutions to complex interpersonal, technical and administrative problems.
  8. Ability to work variable shifts, irregular hours, nights, holidays, weekends, and short notice availability. May be required to travel to multiple work locations.
  9. Ability to be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services. Acts with customers in mind. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to Mgr PA/Facility Services *

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
