GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manages all technical requirements of ERP Software to include the Maximo, Trapeze, Spear, Web and other ERP systems. Performs applications system setup, interface design and coding, and related database designs and scripting. Manages the functional and technical support of these systems for DART's Technology department. Must demonstrate a track record of successful technical management of Maximo, Lawson, Trapeze, Spear and other ERP-applications. Manages enterprise upgrades and system implementation projects with the goal of business process improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manages Implementation, monitoring, maintenance, development, testing, upgrade, and support of the assigned ERP systems.
  2. Provides functional and technical consultation and support to DART?s business and vendors.
  3. Serves as the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for the assigned Business departments to collect and document relevant business process objectives, conduct feasibility study/impact assessment in respect of implementing business requirements.
  4. Authors and maintains applications documentation and DRPs, provide training to Technology and Business staff as needed.
  5. Assists other Technology departments during SDLC of Analytics, Dashboards, Web applications and Workflows integrating with the supported ERP and application
  6. Provides a high degree of application functional expertise in a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures and provides consultation on complex projects.
  7. Leads implementation schedules to ensure timely project completion
  8. Provides support and training to user personnel based on IT projects and initiatives.
  9. Manages and produces/maintains agency-wide ERP communications and documentation.
  10. Oversees modifications to existing applications as necessary based on project requirements. Follows established standards for the design, coding, and testing of software.
  11. Creates test plans, test files, and scripts for unit testing, integration testing. Works with users to validate system testing and conformity with functional requirements.
  12. Follows appropriate change management and implementation procedures. Ensures that appropriate technical and functional documentation is prepared. Coordinates the implementation process
  13. Provides technical troubleshooting and coordinates support with vendors. Provides support to new applications during and after implementation.
  14. Leads ERP software environment, application, and client upgrades and patch installations.
  15. Continually keeps abreast of technical skills to support new ERP software requirements and researches various aspects of ERP tools and software for agency implementation.
  16. Serve as the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for the assigned Business departments to collect and document relevant business process objectives, conduct feasibility study/impact assessment in respect of implementing business requirements.
  17. Provide 5-star customer service and meet Agency service level agreements (SLA).
  18. Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.

  1. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Seven (7) years related experience in project management, business analysis, or information technology to include three (3) years of experience developing, maintaining, and working with Maximo, Service Now, FileNet, and other enterprise applications to include business analysis, applications support, and system administration and configuration.
  3. Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
  4. Proficiency of PC software applications to include Microsoft Office or other related software applications.
  5. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with the public, coworkers, management, and DART Board.
  6. Must be able to work variable hours, to include emergency response to outages.
  7. Must be able to perform work from remote locations as needed.
  8. Must be able to work in an on-call rotation.
  9. Must maintain all certification(s) required for this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
